Sr. Network Engineer

Technology Managed Solutions is currently seeking a Senior Network Engineers with Requirements:

  • CCNP
  • 5 plus years experience working as a team member of an Open Systems environment using LANS'and WANS in Unix (Linux, Solaris )and High availability networks.
  • Cisco, VPN, VLAN, IP Level Security, TCP/IP, SNMP Ethernet 10/100/GE, Firewall (PIX)

Network Engineer

Job description:
Our client is looking for a Network Engineer . This position will be responsible for LAN/WAN support. You will work on network engineering projects as well as provide third level support.

Candidates must have a strong background in LAN/WAN internetworking within an enterprise network. Experience in Gigabit Ethernet switched and ATM, Frame Relay and IP VPN Transport technologies are needed. Cisco or Nortel switches and a Cisco router background is required. Firewall, Authentication and DHCP/DNS network services experience will be needed.

Network Security Administrator

Position Summary:
The Network security Administrator deploys and maintains network security infrastructure to prevent unauthorized access to company information or misuse of network assets, researches attempted efforts to compromise security controls, handles firewall service requests and performs network troubleshooting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities and control

Responsibilities :

  • Support day to day operations of firewalls and IDS/IDP infrastructure .
  • Design, test and implement infrastructure solutions for secure connectivity for Adobe employees and partners. Work with vendors and teams across the IS organization.
  • Design, test and implement infrastructure solutions for network security zoning to protect sensitive corporate assets.
  • participate in projects to evaluate, test and deploy new security technology.
  • Monitor security service request queue, work with requesters to verify requests and determine correct actions required to satisfy the requests. Dispatch service requests to other IS operations staff as needed.
  • Participate in on-call duty to resolve or escalate production security infrastructure issues.

Knowledge and skills:

  • BS Degree and 4+ years of experience in network, systems and security administration.
  • Strong knowledge of network administration and network management protocols; and networking archtecture and design concepts . Cisco certification a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of both public domain and industry leading commercial network security products, Netscreen (Juniper) experience a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of network security protocols, conceptss and practices . CISSP and GIAS certification a plus.
  • strong working knowledge of authentication concepts and practices , including PKI.

* Must be well versed in CheckPoint Firewall configuration and installation.

Desktop Support Analyst II

  • The ideal candidate would be a self-motivated, creative problem-solver with outstanding end user support and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have three to five years of desktop support experience including telephone/help desk support.
  • Required skills include Windows 2000/XP Pro, MS Office, and Outlook.
  • A general understanding of LAN/WAN and a familiarity with Windows NT domains and/or Windows 2000 active directory.
  • Install, configure and troubleshoot software/hardware on Dell desktop and laptops running Windows 2000.
  • Configure and troubleshoot software/hardware on Blackberry devices including required wireless services.
  • Provide level 1 and level 2 technical phone support to the corporate office and 25 remote locations.
  • Provide support in the reconfiguration and deployment of new systems and reallocation of existing systems.
